A dumb clutch/brake question...

Since the MX-3 uses the same fluid for the clutch and the brakes, why is it the clutch will go soft when it's out of fluid, but the brakes are fine?

Thank you very much for the quick replies. I'm now familiar with the inner workings of my MX3 door.

My window "pulley" for lack of a better word came off,
on the inside of the door.

Is this normally held with bolts? When I pulled the door panel,
no nuts fell to the ground, but I was able to find 3 ...

Manual window handle removal Q.

I have a quick, but probably dumb question... How do I remove the manual window cranks? Is it held by a "U" clip or screws? My driver side window is open about 1/4 inch and I can't get it to roll up or down. I think the window crank is disengaged somewhere inside. I don't think the window is removed ...
