Which axle do i order for the pass. side inside joint shaft?
i jsut bought a new cv joint for my 96 man trans Gs. (passenger side)
When i installed it onto the inside joint shaft... they dont fit togehter right, it goes all the way in, but the inside joint shaft looks to be wore down....so there is some movment in the meeting...
the intermdiate shaft bearing ...

wheels off the floor/in neutral/wheels spinning
So i was doing some woek on the car today, jacked the wheels off the ground....started her up...the wheels start to spin slightly...not alot of pressure,. i can stop it with my hands...when i push the clutch in...obviously they stop spining, only when the clutch is resting.
Normal?? Dangerous ...

So...
the faster you go, the cooler the engine coolent gets, it sounds to me like your themostat may be slightly bad. Even if its 15+, the coolent will still cool very quickly when driving at 160, thats if the thermo is bad.
But if the car never did this before the CAI, i wouldnt know what to tell ...

dont rule out you hood rod....
when your checking under the hood, im geussing you use the hood rod, therefor maybe you dont notice it rattling, but when the hood is down, it could rattle.
If its not something very simple, it could be coming from the engine, but with out hearing it, its hard to tell ...

I was bootin down ther highway today, noticed my CEL came on so i pulled over just for a checksy.

she was idling really rough and low, so i drive it to the shop turn it off, when i turn it back on 5 min later it was idleing fine, but still had the CEL in.
