Not sure if fuel system or electrical problem?

So my MX-3 (1993 4cyl 1.6L manual trans) has been running horribly lately, especially when under load such as going up hill or just pushing on the gas hard. Also it doesn't do it much at idle or even when I'm in neutral and rev it high, seems to only have symptoms when in gear. It hesitates and kind ...

Re: Will rims fit..

Thanks. Great link. I'm also not sure exactly the numbers mean as in 205/40 ZR 17. I'm guessing the last number refers to rim size?

Re: Will rims fit..

Hey guys. I'm also getting a set of rims soon and was wondering if I can buy any 17" rim with a 4-bolt pattern? Also what is the offset(as in what does that mean?) and what size tire will 17's require? I don't know much about tire/rim set-ups.

Thanks.

Yeah with that low mileage I see no problem getting $4000 easy.

Re: MX-3 in movies?

Cool, I'm gonna have to check out those movies. I've seen 2F2F but didn't catch that. Anyone remember the color?

In a kind or related car sighting, there is a Corey Haim movie called 'Fast Getaway 2' and he drives a red RX-7.

Tough break man, what pricks. You just don't **** with another man's car. In the words of John Travolta in Pulp Fiction "It would have been worth him doing it just so I could have caught him".

MX-3 in movies?

Does anyone know of any movies that feature MX3's, if only in the background? The only movie I know of is Dumb & Dumber, as Jim Carrey's walking out of the convenience store, there is one sitting there in the parking lot I believe.

Re: Electrical question.

Thanks. By TB you mean throttle body right and I don't really know what/where that is? Same with MAF. I'm bad with acronyms. :o

Re: Electrical question.

No I just have a Sony CD player with 6x9's, and this will happen usually with nothing but dash lights or headlights on. When I turn lights off, the RPM's go back up some.

Electrical question.

Whenever I have been driving a little and the engine warms up, when I stop as my car sits there and idles the RPM's drop really low to where the engine starts shaking like it wants to die, especially when I add any additional electrical load such as turning on the headlights.

Does anyone know if ...

Re: SOHC problem (Manual)

I had an overheating problem myself with the SOHC shortly after I bought it used and it was the water pump. I was driving on the interstate, looked down and my temp gauge was clear in the red. I wish they had some sort of light or beep haha. :rant2:

Anyway according to the mechanic that worked ...

Wiring diagrams?

Hey - Anyone know where I could find a stereo wiring diagram for a 1998 Ford Windstar minivan. My sister wants me to put in a CD player but I have no idea what wire goes to what because there are so damn many? They have like 3 different things that plug into the back. Thanks.
