Re: axel problem please HELP!!!!!
Might be the wheel bearings are bad since it is doing the same thing it did before you changed the axles. Check them by jacking up the side of car that is making the most noise then try to wiggle the tire from top to bottom. Pushing on bottom of tire while pulling on top of tire and so forth. If it ...

Scratch-out by Kit works well too. Tall yellow bottle found with all the other polishes and compounds.

Re: facotry speakers
Hey Brad!<BR> If you are talking about the door speakers, mine had the black sealant crap on the back of them and were hard to get out, but they will come out with some gentle prying like stated before. *WARNING* Be sure to install the new speakers with the window down to check for clearance between ...

? for moderater's
Have you guys heard anything about the TSB F03192? It deals with the rough idle problem with the '92 models with M/T. It states that the ECU is to blame and that it can be replaced with a modified unit. Any ideas with how much this would cost since I think the warranty return is out of the question ...

Has anyone used Splitfire plugs before?
I just recently put in some Splitfire plugs in my '92 rs and it seems to have more of the dreaded "low end stumble" that is associated with our cars. I thought maybe it was the wires after I installed the plugs since I yanked the guts out of two of the plug boots, but since then I have replaced the ...

Re: how much oil does your engine use?
My '92 rs uses between 1/2 to 1 quart of Castrol GTX between oil changes every 3K to 4K miles. Some oils have worse evaporative(?spell) properties than others. Under warmer or extreem conditions some of the oil will turn to a vapor and get sucked up into the PCV system and get burned with no ...

Re: Blue Halogen bulbs?
The blue ones you can purchase at the discount stores (Wal-Mart, K-Mart,etc..) are useless. I couldn't tell any difference then the regular halogens, but my blue ones only lasted about 1 year. I currently have the brighter halogens in and still can't tell the difference. Don't waste your money if ...

BTW- The freak lady that drowned all her kids was found guilty of all charges so she's going away for a long time if they don't fry her. I vote for the latter! IMHO! Just in case ya'll haven't heard yet. I heard Missouri is nice this time of year. :p

Re: NO REAR DEFROSTER.
I have a '92rs and the defroster still works, but the light doesn't come on when I push the button. My question is: do you have to turn the defroster off by pushing the button again or is the switch timed to turn off after a certain amount of time? i would replace the bulb, but don't feel like ...

Re: Whistling noise??? :(
On most cars the heater/AC controls are controled by vaccum. I am not sure about the MX-3's but if you take the control panel out you can see a bunch of little vaccum lines attached to it. They usually run the controls for the vents, defrost, floor heat, and so on. You might try to see if the noise ...

Re: New owner...keys keep breaking
If the door locks are frozen when you try to unlock them, try using a lighter to heat the key up and stick it in the lock to thaw it out.
