parting out '91 mazda 323
I have a 1991 mazda 323 that I am parting out. Everything is there except the transmission and the distributor/coil. Motor is bad. Interior is in good shape and so is the exterior. Buyer pays shipping from Nova Scotia, Canada. Pictures can be seen at:

Re: what causes repeated tranny problems?
Well i think i saved my current tranny by shutting it down as soon as it kicked out of gear. Last night it went up on the hoist and inspected the gears and they appear to still be intact. The fluid level was really low though. Filled it back up with i think 75w80, cant remember right now. Gonna keep ...

Re: what causes repeated tranny problems?
Burn out, barely ever and never since my new one less than 1000 kms ago. Yes, i know how to shift and rarely grind a gear. Checked my tranny oil level tonight and it was really low, filled it back up a bit and am gonna drive it into the shop tonight to check all the seals. Any place common where ...

what causes repeated tranny problems?
What could be the cause of my car repeatedly having problems with transmissions? I am now on my 3rd tranny since i bought my 92 rs. Is this sohc just too much power for it? I think not. The fluid level seems fine but I just swapped in another one and now its coming out of gear voluntarily again. Bad ...

Re: toyota pickup
i believe these trucks have the same body style in 88 and 86 so anything to do with that should be interchangable. I want to get an old 4runner and have researched a lot.

Re: Manual Trans.
I've been searching for this for a while, does anybody actually know the differences in the gearing between the F series transmission? Specifically a 4cyl mx-3 vs. a 91 323 se. I bought one the other day with plans of putting it's transmission into my 92 Sohc.

Re: parking brake
yeah i looked at it toay, and it was the front cable so i got it for 30 bucks and put it on, not too bad of a job if you move the exhaust piping out of the way. Had to file down the ends on the 2 rear cables so they would fit into the new front cable section.
