def wouldnt mind turning my gtr mx-3 into an awd beast to go with the sti i just dont have the time or money lol

this is of my gtr motor at about 13 psi or so.

ill try one more time but i guess nobody is interested.

heres a few pics of the motor mainly as the outside has hail damage and the front bumper is banged up but i have a replacement bumper to go with it. the car is good mainly for the motor not the exterior to be honest.

well ive been thinking bout selling the mx-3. there are plenty of mods on it and am just ready to move on as i now have a 2005 sti and think someone else would love to have this mx-3.

ive got one in mine and i believe i got a great deal as the guy who sold it to me was in desperate need of money for his daily driver so i got mine for cheap. i havent driiven mine in quite awhile but i do know all it needs is a new alternator and new connector for the radiator fans. i havent driven ...

not true. you can use the stock rad. just keep an eye on it. mine was fine until eventually it had a crack in it. i then replaced it with a stock replacement. no probs yet

i used the protege lx tranny and i just used the pro lx axles. worked fine for me. ive yet to break an axle.

yeah my comp dumped all my pics so i gotta go and get them off cardomain. well i would have used the stock ecu but nothing was available so i went with the haltech e6k stand alone.

since i did the bpt gtx swap i have since upgraded many things. One thing I upgraded was the engine. The motor was swapped out for a gtr motor. I have also installed a haltech and with minimal tuning i have 202hp and 194tq at the wheels with only about 11 psi.



I got rid of the eclipse side mount ...

The GTR has a BPC8 stamped on the underside, orange injectors, VJ-23 ball bearing turbo, hollow cams, sodiom filled valves, etc.... All in all, the best turbo piston engine Mazda has ever produced in the 90's .


i agree and to tell you the truth just get the gtr running and keep the boost down ...

id say gtr as it is an extremely rare motor and also easily moddable and yeah i am biased.
