The brake pedal goes down almost to the floor. There is still some braking force left, but not much.

How would I test the check valve? I've done the pumping of the pedal when the car is off, and the pressure holds. It releases when the car starts too.
I think that tests the brake booster tho...

There's no fluid loss, not any that I can see. The brakes work ok when it's parked, when it's revved in neutral, or if I press clutch and brake at the same time (or hold clutch)...
As soon as I put it in gear, and the car moves a little the brake pedal drops to the floor when I press it.

Well those are the exact same topic that gave me the idea in the first place. I just don't see how it fits. The whole cylinder is raised from the brake booster and the seal is not made at all....

Need some help. Got a remanufactured 1992 929 brake master cylinder, but the thing just doesn't seal. I didn't realize that the brake fluid container has to be from 929, but that's another story...

Does that mean that there's no such hitch that can be affixed to an mx3?

Guys, I just want to tow a small aluminum boat or a canoe on a trailer. This is very light, especially since I'll only have just 1 more passenger. I think it'll be just fine for that!
I don't plan on doing 1/4 mile races when it's hooked up.

Anybody here has a trailer hitch installed in their MX3? How do you go about doing that?

I bought new ones from Canadian Tire, because I thought that they are supposed to push the hatch up. It appears that they are meant just to hold it.<p>Once they were installed, I couldn't return them, so I'm selling the old ones. They still have a lot of pressure, but they are not new. Check out section E2; page 5 refers to removal.<p>Take care of the special instructions for filling, there's a rate of fill or you will introduce air in the system.

I have to admit, your posts are very confusing. Does your car have ABS or not?
