Leaving the MX-3 behind
Well...after about 2 years of owning the MX-3, I've decided it's time to move on to a newer car.

I'm picking mine up from the dealer on Monday.
The MX-3 has been fun. This UBB has been great reading as well. Best of luck to everyone.

Re: How much is your mx worth?
Franko, it's understandable that you think you should get more for your car. But think about it from a dealers perspective.
If I were going into a dealership to pick up a car, the chances of me buying a car that had already been modded would be close to nil. Why? Because I know that the car will ...

GE Advanced Materials Hardcoat: AS4700
It's what is used on all of the new polycarb lens from automakers these days. Now that school is starting, I have more free time, I might take apart my headlight and re-hardcoat them to see how it turns out.
The reason that it turns yellow faster for some ...

Re: mx3 safe for trips? cross country?
Wow, I never even considered not driving my car on my road trip this year LOL. I went from Detroit to Atlanta and back to Detroit, then back to Atlanta, then to Savannah, then back to Detroit ;) No problems at all. I got my oil changed once during the trip though. Oh, I've got a V6 with 90k miles ...

A hell of a lot...took my friend's dad's new R32 for a spin last weekend. The pull on that car is insane, beautiful finish as well. You can read my review here:

LOL, who wants to take this one?
Do you think that 250CFMs is a lot? Do you realize that a Vantec Tornado has a flow rate of 119CFM? It's a computer case fan...
Actually...scratch that. I've got a 'Supercharger' I'm willing to sell ya that I guarantee will move 360CFMs...some assembly required ...

Zoso, didn't know you worked for GE, nice :)
Finishing up my last year here at the University of Michigan, Materials Science & Engineering. I've been working as a co-op for GE Advanced Materials for the past year and a half.
