Long, long journeys in America, cheap fuel and the throwaway society. They like their engines big and lazy, so they last, and they aren't prepared to repair them, usually. Some even have the cylinder heads welded on!

My V6 is perfect on 95RON - I wouldn't dream of using 98. I have no snatch in ...

The sooner it gets to operating temperature, the better. The way to get it up there fast is to drive it. If it's idling, it isn't doing enough work to generate heat fast, and the wear while it warms up will be greater than if it's propelling the vehicle. Don't let it idle for more than 30 sec before ...

I don't think so. That torque curve looks somewhat similar to the one in the Online Manual ...

The A means it is a different model ECU. I think it means it can fit interchangeably with the item without the A.

I expect this means a design improvement.

IAll the KLZE's that ive seen are Auto's so do the auto's have LSD's
if the factory option box was ticked? and will a auto diff go into a
mannual?????
Not sure, but most of the KLZE autos will be from Millenias/Eunos 800, which are auto only. I would expect that, being a "highway cruiser", they ...

The most importatnt changes are the dropping of the 3rd coolant temp sensor in the filler neck, and a slightly different distributor, with the wiring of the 3 wire connector completely swapped around.

The Millennia IM just compliments the rest of the engine components for the KLZE (completes the package). I don't believe it's something that goes onto the K8.
Yes, there isn't much point in just bunging a bigger conduit into the middle of a properly designed system.

It's true that bigger ...

We must be going by a different shop manual.
Seems like it - I always quote from the online shop manual, which is 1995. I'm running a crusade to get guys to use it. :D

I think the BPS/APR is used on all the cars.

You definitely need the IAT sensor. Without it, the ECU probably has to operate in ...

No, the Barometric Pressure Sensor measures the air pressure OUTSIDE the engine, to compensate for thin air at high altitude (or pressure change associated with ...

The FACT is that the higher octane fuel develops no more power. It is, put simply, formulated to prevent pre-ignition at higher compression.

However, if you use too low an octane (compared to that for which the engine was designed), the ECU will retard the ignition to prevent pre-ignition (actually ...
