Re: Automatic Seat Belt Recall
Ok. now i have two conflicting ways to interpret "lifetime." There's lifetime of car versus lifetime recall, until fixed. Has anyone had the repair done twice?

Re: Automatic Seat Belt Recall
I had my drivers seatbelt fixed last year at my local dealership no questions asked. If you don't go manual.
What's the truth on the "lifetime" recall? I contacted my nearest dealer and they were able to provide documentation that my car had been serviced for this particular recall and that the ...

Re: Automatic Seat Belt Recall
no no rear belts. You can use the same seats the buckles just bolt right up. Your best bet would be to go to a pick and pull and find a newer MX3 and get everything you need yourself. R+L belts and everything attached. The R+L B pillar covers the a pillar covers the buckles off the seat. You could ...

Re: WTB: Working Auto Belt Upgrade or Manual Conversion
No sunroof and I'm in Oklahoma. I would really rather not have to hassle with the headliner if at all possible. I read something about the trim being more narrow or wider without the seatbelt track and that's why it needed to be swapped. IF I could still convert without swapping the headliner, I ...

WTB: Working Auto Belt Upgrade or Manual Conversion
I would prefer to just go ahead and convert to a manual seat belt setup for both the driver's and passenger's side.
If a manual conversion isn't easy to source, I need a working driver's side auto belt setup, the whole assembly - track, wiring, motor, and cable spool system. I'd like that it come ...

Re: Automatic Seat Belt Recall
yeah im sure they will replace the seat belts. I mean its a life time recall and its a safety issue that was denied to be fixed and you got into a (god forbid) serious accident you could sue mazda and get millions. The auto belts are just annoying period like if you cant reach a ticket dispenser at ...

Automatic Seat Belt Recall
I'm curious to know if anyone has had recent luck in having a dealership service the recalled automatic seat belts? I've read a few accounts that say it's a laughable request but that Mazda will still order the service if you prod the issue enough. I'm looking to replace my drivers side and ...
