ZE swap is not near 5K. Mine cost me about 2500 total and the motor was 1500 of that. They sell for like 8-900 now. Do the swap yourself or with some buddies and I bet you van get it done properly for 1200 or cheap for about a grand.
I meant other than the motor, I need all new suspension, exhaust ...

New here but figured I would drop my 2 pennies . I have owned/driven alot of imports including a 97 3000gt sl back when. I had meet-up friends whoma had vr-4s and I think someone on here pointed it out already: they are built like the Lexus sc400..not meant to be that fast but quick with luxury ...

I have been fooling with CF body parts for a while and I have never been able to get a hood back to CF shine once it turns faded white. I will further rant that VIS makes the worst most garbage CF parts ever. I did a 300zx in CF pieces, even a prototype front nose for 300zx and 550 for Techno-r hood ...

Also I feel like the 'scene'' for custom imports is dead. I t use to be huge around here ( northern Va) now you might see a few Integras lowered on tacky colored rims...is that the new thing?
Seems all the street cruisers drive STI's and Neon srt now.
