^^^ what he said ...but honestly 2.5 isnt bad, If you plan on swapping to DE/ZE, I have 2.5 on my probe and it moves out nicely!

lol I think if we had a meet with a few people familiar with the K-Series motor we could help you find your leak! But I saw that you're in MN so we'd have to pick a neutral spot!

Another option is getting a greddy sp1/sp2 and modding that to fit the k8. Especially if youre going to swap in a KL soon. I have a SP2 on my probe with a vibrant hi-flow cat and that car just sounds damn sexy! Im in the process of getting a pacesetter or another sp1 and modding it to fit my 3

lol if the surge came earlier on I would love it as well! I hate to say it but the more I drive my 3 the more im liking it more than my probe! but when the probe is boosted the table will quickly turn!

Hey guys about 2 months ago I swapped out my K8 for a DE, and was curious as to why my vris open up so high in the rpm range. Vris #1 opens up at about 4k and then #2 opens up around 5500 Rpms...now, is that because I'm using my K8 ECU? if so will putting in an ecu from a PGT/MX6LS correct the points?

thanks man! I really love your car it was my wallpaper for a while haha! but yes definitely needs to be lowered, just saving up for a really good supension set up! i was almost going to go with the ebay coilovers but then saw that thread we have here and decided against lol

Thanks, mY car just needs to be buffed and waxed, dropped on some new wheels and tinted that'll be it as far as exterior! Then its all performance from there! (besides my DE thats already in)
