The EGR valve has been blanked ...

Re: idle and temp problems

Idle sorted. It was the vacuum pipe that had slipped off.

I have now flushed everything, including heater core. I now have heat in the car.

Prob now is that the fan is not coming on. So i guess it may be the fan assembly faulty or would i be right in saying that it may be a collant temp sensor ...

Re: idle and temp problems

Found a wee vacuum hose out just under the throttle body. (that hopefully will take care of idle probs.)

No blockages in rad. Thermo workin ok.

Think it may be water pump? Even though it was brand new 1 year ago. Is there a way i can tell? How do i flush my engine block to see if there is ...

Re: Rear Brake Caliper Bearings

Got it sorted guys. You can get bushes the same size: outer diam, 22mm. Inside diam, 16mm. Length, 24mm. You call the make of the bush oilite. You cn google that. However you need to resess a groove through the bush for the piston rod to fit through it.

Hope this is of help to someone.

Rear Brake Caliper Bearings

Hi Guys,

I have sent my calipers off to get refurbished and powder coated as part of my project. Problem is the firm doing the work (although a highly reccommended company) cannot source new "needle bearings" for the rear calipers.

I believe these are used as part of the handbrake connectors (when ...

Side panel indicators

Hi ppl,

Is there a set of side panel indicators that you can get with clear lenses to replace the orange ones?

I have searched everywhere and some have done custom jobs for this using superglue?
Not my cup of tea I'm afraid, what's the solution?

Cheers guys

Hi guys,
considering buying 17in wheels and putting on 205/40/17 tires on front with 215/40/17 on the rear.

Can anyone tell me pro's and con's with this set up?

Will the rear fit, handling etc.

Thanks guys
