I think when the engine was installed... I noticed that the vacum line coming off of the egr valve.. is broken off the black tip is protruding out of the vacum line at the top end of the vacum line coming off of the egr.. I would assume that this would code it.. however I can't find the spot where ...

1992 mazda mx3 vg 1.8.. purchased the engine from tigerjapanese auto parts in Ontario.. had to swap out the intake manifold and the distributor as they were not the same... since being installed the car codes everytime I take it out on the highway.. around town it does not appear to code.. the codes ...

I apologize for my ignorance.. you say VAF.. I would assume this as something to do with the variation of RPMS when put into gear.. also could you describe the thermo sensor and its location so that I can take a look at it and possibly repair it...

Just put the engine in ... the mazda mx3 v6 1.8... have jumped the diagnostic box. Initially there was one code on the box code 12. .. throttle position sensor... I tried centreing the sensor... still coding... now there is a bigger problem.. everytime i put the car into gear.. the engine rpm revs ...

I jumped the ten and the GND.. with a paper clip.. I also noticed that there are two plug ins for the GND. Hopefully, the proper GND is the one that is on the ten plug. After jumping the two I turned the ignition on. I heard a long click and a short click. which I believe to be number 11 code ...

Are there four oxygen sensors on the 1992 mazda mx3. I looked in the manual on line and I can't find the locaion of the sensors.. I see one under neath the car just behind the rad hose.. how many others Also with a 17 code.. this would mean that the o2 sensor is not faulty.. that the air mixture ...

Just purchased an MX3 1.8 v6.. Put a newer JDM engine in ... seems to run well... took the car out on the highway last night and the check engine light came on. Phoned Mazda service... service rep believes that it in all likelihood could be caused by an oxygen sensor... just wondering, I have found ...

Thanx for all the help... found out that the engine that was shipped never had the plug (I believe related to the vacum leak).. took the plug off of the old engine... works great.. however,... the check engine light came on while I was on the highway with the car.. I am thinking that it is an oxygen ...
