does anyone have an old a/c compressor with the pressure release valve on it. i really need the valve to see if it will fix my a/c I called the mazda dealership and it is 50.00 and they said that it might not fix the problem and i would hate to pay 50.00 for it and it not fix it.<P>Thanks

ok it is the piece on the bottom back of the a/c compressor that is spring loaded pressure relaease valve????? anyway it let all my freon out and its stuck in the open position... I need to know a name for it so i can call the mazda dealership. :p

ok this is the problem i just got my a/c recharged and now when i am using the a/c the idle jumps like crazy and it dies all the time also my battery charge light has been coming on, oh and when i turn the a/c off all of this stops and my car runs fine.... any ideas what could be wrong??? any help ...
