O wait ok so i should be doing the BP engine?

So should i be looking to upgrade to the b6d b6ze or something else whichever is simplest would be preferred

I LIKE THE WAY YOU GUYS THINK! what is the difference in horsepower for the two motors because i think mines get what about 87 horse?

Ok so my two best options are to have the original head machined or upgrade to the 1.8 dohc but with that dont i have to get trans and new mounts and stuff?

so im guessing it would be cheaper to just buy a used head an put it on right?! but how hard is it to swap to a dohc?

Yeah i need the sohc my head is not that beefy! >jealous< but i just need one because mine has a bad cylinder psi on one so idk shoot me some prices! i live near det

Looking for a 4 cyl head for my 93 mx-3 can any one hlp i live near detroit Mi

i have a mazda mx-3 doesnt run its on stealies and will need to be towed o yea its only the four cyl
what it needs that i know of:
suspension all the way around
drivers axle
has a leaky oil pan
doesnt have the ignition setup in it
has some rust on quarter panels
some new shift linkage
needs water ...

engines strong ummm idc which wing i just want one i cudnt find any ebay headers the interior is black but i have the door panels so i just need the actual doors themselves.ummm lets see i need the shift linkage as well i was just under the car today and noticed it was about to fall apart heheh and ...

HEy guys im new to the mx3 club i just picked mine up yesterday :-D and so far i need:
4 cyl
alternator
passenger door
driver door
wing <- not neccesary but it looks sweet:-)
a place to find a good performance exhaust + header
and full suspension all the way around
i think thats about it for now ...

i live in michigan detroit metro area lookin for a cheap mx-3 to work on thru the winter LMK what ya got please!
