I actually had a problem with the clear coat on my projectors chipping/failing
did basically the same thing with them except i resprayed them with a generic automotive clear coat after and now they look brand new again...Took forever, but it returned the light output to the way they were brand new ...

Easy way to remove hoses?
I can never seem to get the coolant hoses and rubber fuel lines in and around the engine off without cutting them and replacing them they either wont slide off or they are melted right on (which seems to be the case with coolant hoses...)

Realigning Reverse idler shaft?
So the lock bolt that holds the reverse idler shaft in place fell out at some point and now I can engage every gear easily and smoothly except reverse its a 4 cyl dohc if that helps :lol:
