Let me know if you need parts or anything, I'm only a few hundred miles away. My GS that i've been working on, I bought from Union City.
Funny that you say that because my Car just started doing some funny stuff; alternater is making a whining noise; logical sense that alternator is thus dying ...

That is, hands down, the best explanation on how a differential works by far.

[FS] 93 MX-3 GS 1.8L....{Scratch that}
So I have finally decided to get rid of the MX-3. Just got done doing most of the top end; runs fine save the hard shifting (Which I believe is just the clutch needing to be bleed). The suspension needs doing but if one of you guys off the forum buys it I will throw in everything you need to do that ...

Re: Need some input for MTX on 93 K8
The clutch pedal feels about normal. No real change in stiffness. I'll take a look at the master/slave later and see if I can't find any leaks anywhere; or atleast the tell tale signs of leakage and report back.

Need some input for MTX on 93 K8
A little back story. Back in 08 I had my shifter fork take a poop on me and so I raged faced it into 3rd for 5miles to get home and thus totaled the tranny; shattered the Shifter fork and turned 1st and 2nd gears into toothless monsters. Long story short I snagged a rebuilt tranny and center force ...

[WTB] MAF Sensor Mounting Bracket
I need the mounting bracket for the MAF Sensor for a '93 K8. Lost the original when I moved and apparently you're car is considered "modified" by the state of California without it.
Zip's 94587. If anyones got the mounting screws for the airbox that would be a big plus. Haha.

Re: how can I drop my cold idle a bit?

Re: how can I drop my cold idle a bit?
I know that cold idle's are supposed to be high; though mine normally doesn't sit at 2.6k cold either.
Also... It used to be that older engines (pre-injection engines) used to idle high or rough when it was cold because the lack of any sort of fuel management and the differences in the AFR ...

Argh! The TA or the MX3; such a hard choice! I would definitely look into what hes done to the car before doing anything. Make sure he's not selling you a gimped/failed project car. Also whats the mileage?
