great work on ur car, when i 1st changed to a short shifter it felt too tight as well, but you get used to it and now it just feels natural to me. When i drive other cars they feel kinda dodgy lol
any ideas for what i should do with it lol ? atm ive just tucked it into the bottom 1/2 of my airbox under the filter, sum1 on the uk mx3 site suggested makeing a hole in the back of the pod filter and attaching it to that
ah i see u removed the air box compeltely, ive left the bottom 1/2 of mine on, only problem is the stock bracket wont fit now...hmm cable ties wont last foreva!
i picked up a K&N Pod Filter today from AutoOne. Anways just thought id post some pics to make sure ive done it all ok, ill take it up2 my mechanic n get him2 have a quick look as well.
Bascially i had to remove the top 1/2 of the air box,
Thinking about buying one for my mx3. Anyone of you guys recommend them ? one of my mates has one on his FTO n said it made a fair bit of a difference, plus it looks cool. looking at getting one like this - cheap off ebay
cheers aston,
yeah i picked up the sleeving thing to fill the gap from the OEM unit. hopefully it shudnt cause 2 much dramas.
i was looking in the boot and i noticed those backseat brackets so ill probably do the same, ill definately secure it no way will i leave it just sitting there.
