Just took my v6 on a 95 for it's Mot this week. The car has been off the road for nealy 2 years, it ran fine up to the garage about 2 miles away, passesd the mot no probs. Hi, they look very much the same as my old ladys impreza, 1st time i did one it was a pig of a job. I made some packers and pressed it out in a vice, while heating the hub up. Refitting left the new bearing in the freezer for a few hours, warmed the hub up, it then slid in with a light tap to seat ...

Have you removed the fuel pump out of the tank and checked the strainer, i had a similar problem last year, cleaned the tank, blew the fuel lines out, changed fuel filter. It now rev's it's "nuts" off, i was surprised how much crap was in the tank. When it's run then stopped can you smell unburnt ...

Rear number plate light brackets
I have a 1.8 v6 on a 95, the problem i have the rear number plate light mount brackets have rusted away. Has any one got one or both to sell, or possibly send me a photo and any dimensions so i can try and fabricate one:?:

I have the same problem, mine is the 1.8 v6 on a 95, i have removed the plastic shroud around the column, there is a cut out in the shroud but no lever. Cannot see how it adjusts so i can lift it. Thanks for all your input, removed the radio today, found what looked like a spiders web behind it. Lights now work fine, will have to rewire the radio
, may even treat it to a new one

Checked back from tail lights, rearlight down to earth. Split main loom on connector above rear wheel arch, this part clear, tested back to fuse box, down to earth. Try again Friday weather permitting, i reckon it's got to be rubbing on the chassis somewhere? Slow going i'm colour blind, 12yr old ...

I have a 95 1.8 v6, bought it off ebay, the problem it has is the 10 amp fuse that keeps blowing. Ive removed most of the internal trim checking for any shorts.
