I have a 92 Mazda MX-3 GS Manual V6. The car runs great but when I stop, it revs a little (think to trying to stay running) and then dies. Does this in any gear, even neutral. Car starts right back up but next stop dies. Really annoying to have to restart car at every stop sign. My rpms are very low ...

This ended up being something to do with a tempature gauge. The sensor was bad and telling the engine it was cold when it actually was hot. So it was trying to warm up the engine as I was driving. Had to take it to the dealership to get this taken care of. But thanks for all your help.

I will be driving my mx-3 v6 down the road in any gear and all the sudden the rpms jump up to 3000 rpms and stays there. Not sure what could be causing this but it is driving me crazy. Car also won't start if you shut the car off while it is revving up. Please help someone.
