what your calling a reactor, that is your post cat. You need those for emmisions i would believe. Usually most mx3's just have one cat between the driver and passenger seat. I would suspect that it is manditory for you to have the 2 post cats on each cylinder bank, to pass the visual inspection ...

Can you be more specific? It's completely gone, or it cracked in a few places and a portion of the gasket is gone? ...and where did it go, I wonder!??
