blown gasket?
I was driving down the highway yesterday when my AC stopped working then, my engine temp needle maxed out. I pulled over, one bottle of radiator repair and jug of water later I'm back on the road, no problem. Here is the issue, when the radiator was leaking water, it was black. It was also on the ...

Re: radiator fan kicks on and car will not start
I am not sure how to jump my starter directly, you mean connecting jumper cables to the starter and my battery?
I have had it for about 7 years. The starter had been working perfectly, they only thing that has been acting up lately is she leaks a little oil and the hand break light comes on and off ...

Re: radiator fan kicks on and car will not start
I reached down and physically held in the clutch button in and nothing changed. I checked the grounds but I'm not sure what to do beyond wiggling them to make sure they are snug and connected. I was playing around with the wires to the fan and unplugged these two small black boxes at the top left ...

New kind of engine for a swap

Re: 6 speed
Its gota be possible, you can buy a miata with a 6-speed. Isn’t there someone out there that could make a custom gearbox? I mean common you can do it in Gran Truismo 3 than surely you can do it in real life! ;)<P>Anyway, I figured a 6speed would help if I had an engine upgrade and also I wouldn’t ...

funny engine noises
Ok, when my engine goes above 3500RPM it makes a straining rattling noise, it does it worst if its under full throttle. My dads Toyota truck made the same noise when it was accelerating hard but it is 11 years old. My car is only a 95 with about 37,000 miles on it. I just changed my oil, and it ...

Re: Engine Swap
I believe you can get just as much power out of a good 4cyl as with any v6, I've herd that the BPT 4cyl from a 323-GTR (I have also herd it called the BPD) is VERY upgradeable easily reaching 300hp and well beyond, that engine has a lot of goodies (hallow exhaust valve stems, less restrictive intake ...
