My question was for a friend and the part has been installed with success
She had to change the pulley but her actual one did not fit at all on the alt i brought her. I dunno wich pulley she took but it seems she found one (thanks to her mechanic) and now the car is repaired , thanks to me :twisted:

alternator interchangeability

hi guys , ive got a probably unusal question to ask but , ill try anyway.

I have a spare alternator for a 1.8l SOHC protege engine
and wanted to know if i can install it onto a b6 DOHC 1994 engine,
bolt-on.

If anyone knows the answer id appreciate any pointers on that specific question

the seats had seat covers from their early days ,they looked brand new

u should see mines
rocker panels are holed 10 inches long
and need welding
yours though are treatable
have them sandblasted!

guys , forget the idea of sandblasting or grinding the hood
the hoods made nowadays are only a thin sheet of steel that lays down on rubber tits between the hood frame and the top sheet that u see from the exterior

i suggest one product for stripping all the paint is that aircraft paint remover ...
