Re: Good exhaust sound
I'd go with a Tanabe Racing Medallion. Its a very deep exhaust sound, full stainless steel, etcetera, not like some Honda bee farm thing. Only cost me 140$.

Air Conditioning
Does anyone know how hard it would be to put an A/C unit in my car ? If you've done it, tell me all about it. I figure it shouldn't be to hard, but you never know.

interior treatment
Can anyone tell me what you use for painting or dyeing the dashboard or air vents. I tried it once, using alcohol cleaner and a light sanding, and the paint kept bubbling up anyway ?. What else can I try now?

Re: Drop Me
I've got the Suspension Techniques lowering springs and low profile tires (1/2" shorter than stock 205/55). Those two combined gave my car 2.2" of drop, with about 2" of fender gap. It's not totally slammed, I can drive on pretty much any road but every once and a while have to be careful.

Re: Tires
I'm running BFG Euro T/A's in 215/40/16. Fairly well priced. They stick very well, I haven't broke traction yet and I drive very hard.

2.5 probe cams on 1.8
This has probably been answered lots of times, but can the cams from a 2.5 Probe be placed onto a KL-08's 1.8 ? If so, what type of power differences are there ? I have an open air intake and 2 1/4 exaust piing ending in a Tanabe Racing Medallion muffler.

Re: Ported or sealed Sub Enclosure
Right on, somebody else running MTX. I've got two 12" Thunder 6000's running in a sealed box. I've got them bridged off a (I think, without looking at the amp) MTX 4405 amp (5 channel), so only about 300 watts to the subs, no rear fill. With that box, I still have room for my army stuff in the back ...

I get shocked every once in a while, but jeez pumpkin, its only a little static electricity. Besides that, I don't know if they (buttons) actually work, Anybody touch them on a regular basis ?

Re: Wheel Sizes
17x7.5, or bigger ..or smaller. Remember, the wider the contact patch of the tire and size of wheel, the more power you're going to lose, but for pure looks, 17x7.5 looks good. I run 16x7 with 215/40's BFG's. hope it helps.

That place near Toronto is called A-spec.<BR>(a-spec.ca) I know exactly what your talking about. I'm just keeping my tired old 1.8 running until I can afford the transplant, but I'm still playing around with a few mods on it.

Re: MX-3 vs Celica, RSX
My roommate has a 2000 GT 5spd. We have raced before (My 93 GS 5spd)and have been pretty much even. I had her on the start, even in the middle, I pulled ahead near the end. Plus I had about 80lbs of stereo in the trunk. My 2 cents worth is that they're pretty much the same.

Ouch. So, do you still have a ticking noise? You could have done your gaskets yourself like I did, saving a few hundred bucks. I hope it all worked for you.

They're not bad, except for the chrome or aluminum, or whatever edging. I think they're around 350 - 450$. Ouch. Do you have any of your car? I'm thinking about the chamileon / chromo-lusion paint scheme.
