You may want to check your thrush washers. Or if you are using coilovers, they are known to make noise when turning after the rubber bushing wear out.

that is due to the 90-94 proteges only being the ones that interchange with the 91 through 03 escort suspensions. When using the 97 through 03 you would have to use the top hats for that year series for the struts. 95 and up proteges do not interchange.

here is a very important note that not very many people know about the zx2 struts. You want to get the struts and springs from the sr version of the zx2, they have a shorter strut rod and are the only ones that come with the eiback springs.
