checked for spark.. absolutley none. not knowing where my problem is on this now. stumped. does anyone know if the wiring is a bit different, or if there is something i am missing now. PLEASE HELP!!

k guys, my disty is crap. got another one from a 93 (which is the year of the car the engine came out of, but its disty wouldn't work in the 95 body. so i put the other disty in and it fired up.) that disty is now not working and the one i got out of a 93 will not fire up. even have a ecu from the ...

when you put your key in and turn it. do you get power to the dash and such? if not.. then look under the dash and find the relay by the clutch pedal with black and blue wires going to it, and replace it. this happened to me. changed it, and fired right up.

Thats all i know.

hey guys, well. needless to say problem is solved. one of the first things i should have checked, and thought about checking. turns out all this was caused by a damned relay under the dash. put another relay in and VOILA. Working car. (after changing disty's and ecu) Going to leave the autostart out ...

nah, the problem is still there, thought i had it fixed when i removed the autostart. but it never died cause the car was in motion.. but like i said, i started it in the morning and left it in neutral. cut out on me a little while after.
Am going to attempt the hei mod soon i think. hopefully this ...

hey, sorry for the lack of description. Engine i put in was just another k8 from another mx3. tranny is actually manual. and the autostart was already in the car when i had bought it. i'm not to sure what vaf, or tb i have. but i noticed when i put it in the car, they had both had different disty's ...

not sure if this helps, but i installed an amp once and the gain was set up to the max, and the sub was going nuts.. maybe check that... seems like an odd problem.. best of luck anyway man.

the only way you will actually get the peak rms out of an amp would be if a lightening bolt hit it.. but that would only last for a second and you might not notice.. and if you do notice a difference in power with a lightening bolt, you may wanna think about getting the fire extinguisher
