235/40/17'S
Does anyone know if 235/40/17's will fit, lowered 1.6" f/r without rubbing or rolling fenders?

Re: 235/40/17'S
Nope.
My 225's are out at the rear with 5mm clearance on the strut
215 is probably wide as you can go without rolling.

Re: 235/40/17'S
I have 235/40/17 on my car. Two things to consider. What is the rim offset? I'm +20 and have just enough space in between the tire and strut.
Other thing is how low is the car. My car is mildly lowered with apex springs. If you have something low or have coilovers you will run into problems.
I have been driving with these for just a couple months. and personally I would go with 225/40/17 with a +15 offset.
p.s. you will need to roll the fenders but nothing to crazy.

Re: 235/40/17'S
I ran RT615 235/40/17 with an 1/8 spacer and was ok the rears were fine it was the front that had an issue without the spacers.

i've got 235/45-17, on a 17x8 rim with +35 offset.
it barely clears when turning and also notice that im on coilovers.
but i've not rolled my fenders and they dont stick out

Re: 235/40/17'S
225/50-16 on 16x8 with ~ +30 offset and the fronts clear like nobody's business, my car is dropped about 1.25". The only issue that I ran into was the tire rubbing against the strut perch. 2 minutes with a sawzall and another 2 with a flat sided file took care of that.
From my experience, you WILL need to roll your fenders to clear 235mm. Your ride height may make it impossible, even.
