i was at the gas station my car was idleing then all of a sudden died so i tried to restart it nothing happens just cranks over and over so i pulled the ignition coil wire not seeing any spark bought a new coil installed it still no spark goin to the distributer checked the fuses they all seem ok i dont know what else to do now what else can cause the car to just died and get no spark ?

maybe research hei mod or ignition module. seems to be a pretty common problem around here.

1993 is a SOHC, and usually doesn't have ignition issues...

Does it throw a CEL? I'd check that. Ignitor failure often comes with a code 2 or code 3.

ive replaced the ignition module and it seemed to work great if not better afterwards. was driving on the high way one day and i noticed my car sounding like it was running on 3 cylinders. so i pulled over and popped the hood and a spark plug was missing. i walked back to town . got a spark plug then put it in and continued driving. went and had lunch and about 10 minutes after i left car died when i was going 60 miles per hour. ended up being an ignition module. check ebay found one for 30 bucks

Don't you hate it when one morning, you get up, and a spark plug decides to get up and walk away...

Indeed, I remebered that when I went to post it, but it just popped out, but didn't run away or anything
