so i took my car out to the st thomas drag way friday nigth with a couple friends and the girlfriend and all night i got 15 even, mind you m girlfriend went down with me everytime. and i let her run it once and since shes only been driving standard for about a month she got 16.02 which well i thought was hot but yea. i also have a bad tps, no egr, headers, and i shifted each time at 7000rpm. launched it at 2000.

any suggestions on getting a better time and i texted nightshade while i was there and he said i should do way better then 15.

15 isn't that bad considering it was your first time... alot of things come into play when drag racing including the environment (elevation)... tires, suspension, mounts and weight are the first things that come to mind

I would say shift at 6500 or 6600 since that's right where the power drops off and don't have your gf in the car - weight uses horsepower! Reaction time plays a big part as well...
