hey everyone... i'm new to the forum and new to MX3's. i just picked up a 4cyl '93. the exhaust is pretty finished on it and i found a used exhaust in great shape. i just want to make sure it will fit.

are all the 4 cyl MX3 exhausts interchangeable or do i need to stick with the 92-93 exhaust?

All sections from the tailpipe to the muffler, to the resonator, to the catalytic converter, to the weird piece of pipe after the cat will be fine. In '94 or '95 a 3-way warm-up cat was added, it bolts from the exhaust manifold to a downpipe which bolts to that weird shaped piece of pipe. On the models without the warm-up cat there's a straight piece of flexpipe that bolts to a weird looking downpipe, then to the exhaust manifold. The models with the warm-up cat used ball-and-socket flanges to give the exhaust flex, instead of a piece of flexpipe.
