I was just at Youtube, and i stumbled across a few car videos.
It made curious about our car with a K8 Turbo, KLDE KLZE N/A or boosted , the 4cyl. gang can work on this too
I am in NO WAY supporting street racing, and please if you have no safe place to record this, DONT TRY
It would be cool to see some videos of our cars, from a :
standing still = 0mph , 0kmh
to
200 kph ( 125mph )

since our cars have a weight problem, it would be cool to see what it really does accelerating to a high speed
REMEMBER - if you cant record it safe, DONT RECORD IT AT ALL
I will try and record it with my slow K8, just for fun

Whenever the drag strip here in Portland opens, again, we'll put up vids of a Turbo 4cyl, N/A DE, and a couple N/A ZE's going up to the low 100mph, in between the low 14s to maybe high 12s
I'm shooting for 100mph in 13.9

jesse, i can understand those times, but i really what to see above 100mph
125 is a magical number ( well , 200kph is the real deal )
Please remember that gear changes and gear ratio play a big roll in these movies.
Come on guys, let's record our cars. If someone cant record this movie in a safe way, PLEASE DONT

recently i moved.
on the way here, i was driving my car with my old K8 ...
I have it recorded on my cell phone:
Full car ( i even show the cardboxes with my stuff ) and full speed.
My car with a full load can reach 218kmh , then i had to let go.
i am going to get it to my computer

Fastest thing I've ever seen, thats still street legal. Scary thought, 300BHP on a what, 500lb machine? Not to mention its got nearly the same displacement as my SOHC.
