im installing my turbo right now and i have a problem. the inlet of the turbo where the cone filter goes hits on the frame??? do i have to make some kind of spacer betwen the down pipe flange and the turbo to make it a bit higher to clear the frame of the car???

hey guys that know about klze turbos in mx3's...

I had this problem also.. I had to bend my pipes a bit to angle the turbo up slightly...but I think the proper way to do it would be a spacer.

We had a similar problem on a probe that was going turbo (from supercharged). We ended up cutting the flange for the turbocharger off of the pipe, and turned/angled it slightly and then welded it back together.
looked good when we were done.
