Ok, i've been planning of buying an mx since i was twelve. I'd like to buy one as soon as possible even though i'll only get my license in 2010. Yeah, but if u screw that and just help me. :P

So there's not that many mx-3's over here. They r all old and driven a lot. And because of the weather and salt a car as old as a mx would b really rusty. So the best idea is to import one from for example Germany (most cars that r imported r imported from there.). But u can hear a lot about cheating n suff like that about buying one from Germany. So it's kinda risky. I was also thinking about the Netherlands? I only know mobile.de and i found some auto.nl but i'd like to know about some other pages?

I'm looking for an GS with the newer dash so 94-96. Not really so interested about the 96-98 cause they're not as tuning friendly. :( I also want central locking, electric windows and some kind of air-conditioner.

So could some Dutch and German fellow mxer enthusiasts tell me where to find a mx of my own. And some pages to look for them and what should i beware of and look at when buying one.

Thanks already. Oh. and i'm not that rich so...

have you tried ebay.de? or some of the other global ebay sites... I see mx-3's from time to time...

good luck trying to find an mx-3 with low miles ANYWHERE on the planet :? but you guys were lucky in europe since you had them until 1998 so you could get one as young as 10 years old!

Thanks a lot, great links. Yeah i've visit the Netherlands-community page lots of times, that's how i got the idea to maybe import one form there. How much would u say that would b the price for a 94-95 GS with ~200k on the meter?

I've also visited the German mx-3 community lots of times and i'm always checking out mobile.de.

Cause the price i get the car from a another country should b about 50% out of the prices over here that it would be worth it. Cause with all the taxes n stuff the price will come nearly to the same, it could even b more. It al depends on the price i can get a car. So here if u r lucky enough to find a 94-95 gs with all those that i listed u'd probably pay some ~6000-8000 and it might be quite rusty.

My dad would never get one from Poland. He says they r all crashed cars. :) He says the same about cars in Estonia which would b even closer.

Basically i'd have to get the car for some ~3000€. If i decide to get a later one of course i'd have to/ could pay a bit more.:?

The distance doesn't really mater, of course it would b easier if u find it nearer cause it's easier to go and look at it a once than going abroad staying in a hotel looking at lots during maybe one week.

Wells let's c what happens, i guess will just have to wait n c.
