Who knows about the DE ........cause I don't

hey everyone iil try and simplify thsi i bought a car with a de but i don't have any gitty up at all what has to be changed in order to run a de i have a manul 92 gs and the engine has like 52 000km on it....... i got the car form a guy that didn't know anythign about the car anyhelp would be very useful thx again

de = 2.5L v6.
Comes out of a probe GT, Mx-6 LS as well as a few other cars.

You will need the kl02 vaf from any of the various models the 2.5 came in. You will also need the correct ecu from the same car. Other than those two things, everything else from the k8 that was in the mx3 should work with no problems.

thx alot guys umm i also pulled 2 codes ...02 .......08 could you descridbe where they areon the engine im pretty sure the camshaft positionsencor is on the very front of the engine right beside the alt and the 02 sencors are located front anf back of the engine correct :S thx

camshaft position sensor is located inside the distributor.

hey guys it turns out that its not flashing the 02 or 08 its actually flashing (28 EGR vacuum solenoid) is this y my car dowsn't have any real horsepower and where would i find it located on the de engine ? thx alot

your egr does not effect the preformance of the motor. Its only purpose is for emmisions and saving the planet! lol ( along with the other usless thing the charcol can) Unless your in an emmison state (which most of u are) you dont need it.
