Does anyone have the Mazdaspeed Front upper spring perch mounts from Corksport. If so are they worth buying? what are the benifits?

I got them.
Dont know if they make a lot of difference...
Installed GC`s etc at the same time.
Anyway, they are a lot stiffer supposedly.
What bugs me is the poor plastic strut bearing.
ZX2 atleast have metal bearings...

You will notice a more harsh ride and no real imrovement in the handeling. They keep the alignment more in spec under very hard cornering, but a novice driver will not notice.

I'm looking at these as an R/R item to finish off the front end. After replacing the inner LCA bushings, ball joints, and outer tie rod ends, I still have a little bit of slop paired with a clunk under accel/decel loads. I still hear a bit of popping under hard steering lock and heavy cornering loads too. Since the lower components have been replaced and made a HUGE difference, the upper mounts were my next target. Inner tie rod ends looked pretty good, so I'm not too worried about those.
Can anyone offer a sanity check and confirm that my diagnosis is likely correct?
Then, can anyone contrast the Mazdaspeed upper mounts to the KYB upper mounts, both of which are sold by Corksport? Are the MS units any stiffer or more durable than the KYB or vice versa?

I have them.
There about the same price as buying new ones from the parts store. and there made of polyurethane not rubber that will crack after time

I believe they got rubber and not polyurethane.
But it`s a firmer and more durable rubbercompound.

I got the MS ones off corksport I figure they were just as expensive as oem or after makrket and I was upgrading all the bushings under the car so why not upgrade the upper strut mounts as well.

the MS mounts are 40% stiffer than the stockers and about $40 cheaper through Mazdaspeed Motorsports (if you happen to be a member)

I was recently at the local mazda dealer looking for a few dealer only parts. I was looking for the lower front Ctrl arm bushing for the 323 but they thought I was looking for the upper strut mount and asked which one standard or hard ??? Never thought to ask for the P/N or price of both to see since the MS mounts are actually a 323 P/N anyway.

I hope they are not to harsh a ride. But that's the price you pay for performance.
