Would anyone like to give me a hand?????? it would be most appreciated. i live in punta gorda fl. southwest fl.

Its a bit (okay, a LOT) too far of a drive for us... with gas prices being so high not helping either. All of us have pretty busy personal/professional lives as well. I cant speak for all the guys in the club, but I can say with a pretty fair amount of certainty that no one will be able to make the trip. According to GOOGLE maps, it is over a 10 hour drive to get to Punta Gorda.
Start address: Woodstock, GA
End address: Punta Gorda, FL
Distance: 582 mi (about 10 hours 52 mins)
Those tools you listed as not having are a wise investment if you would like to work on your car. You can get all of those tools for WAY under $500.
Unless your car is not working, you might want to think about waiting to do the swap at a later date after you have purchased AT LEAST the metric socket set. That is a MUST if you ever want tp work on your car. You can get a nice Craftsman socket set from SEARS for relatively cheap. A breaker bar is pretty important too and can be had for really cheap as well.
You can rent a hoist. Or heck, even buy one, use it, clean it, take it back!
We will be available to answer questions you might have as they come up, however, via the forums...

Good deal. It really isn't that hard. Also, once you've done it you can say you did it by yourself. You will learn a ton by doing it yourself. The BP is a well worthwhile upgrade. Good luck, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask us. We also have our own forum at
http://www.atlantamx3.com/mocaforum if you want to reach us directly.

actually, I dont have to approve all new members to the forum.
I probably should change that though because we ARE getting mroe spammers & fake accounts.
I see that you are already a member....mazdamx3sohc.
Is it not letting you log in? Sometimes you have to do it a few times (log in)... bad problem with the forum software.

You will need to make the trip to meet with us, at least. Thats the first step.
Oh, and I checked your account on the MOCA forum. It says you are still inactive. You should have received an email to activate your account.
Follow those directions.
