I have a Audiovox PAV2000DTV in dash dvd player,
i bought the car from a buddy and the dvd player wouldnt open, i took it to fountain tire to get a mechanical inspectioin so i could insure the vehicle, when i got the car back from fountain tire, the dvd player would open, but it wouldnt read discs. theeennn when i turned my car off the dvd player wouldnt close all the way, so i kinda guided it along, and now it wont open back up, or even read cd's. if ANYONE knows whats going on could they please help me, as i hate listening to the radio with no screen..

sounds like the dvd player is trashed...

NEVER EVER LEAVE A CD PLAYER FACE OR DVD FLIPFACE IN A CAR WHEN GIVING IT TOO A MECHANIC!!!! They play with the sh*t, think it's cool- but most never seen any of these things before.

don't temp the mechanics................................I've had guys pull my removable face off and on till it broke and wouldn't go back on.
