Hey guys I got a buddy at work, who's got a stock IS300, and keeps trash talkin me.<BR>I got an auto 2.5L, possibly 2.6L if the machine shop changed the b&s, with a tranny cooler, MSD, K&N intake, and a 2.25 exhaust with high flow cat(if that matters)<BR>Anyways do I stand a chance?<BR>he's got one of those electronic/triptronic automatic transmissions that Lexus made standard until 1-2yrs later when it came with an optional 5-speed.

well IS's come with 217-225hp, i can't remember the exact number. so figure out about how much hp your car has. then just do power to weight ratios on each. keep in mind the auto tranny on his IS will keep more hp from the wheels than your manual.

Those things are pretty fast....Should be a good race though.

If you got a ZE, you will take him out no problem...I drove a friends IS auto...I wasn't impressed at all..
