Engine Swap pics (BP)

well the j-spec bp is in and it;s alot faster then my old sohc with 88hp
couldn't test it much cause it's raining but i can't get any traction so thats a good thing :D
engine is kinda dirty but everything is gonna nice and clean by this weekend

wow. i like how the motor is mostly black and how it goes with your blue ractive intake and paint job. looks sweet.

Looks really good man. Im also interested in how much the price tag is. Did you pick up the engine locally or did you order it?

900 for the engine and 900 for labour (cnd)
then all the little stuff<p>only prob is i'm using my stock tranny with stock clutch cause i couldn't find a low km g series tranny in time, so when i shift at high rpms into the next gear it slips , so i can't chrip secounds<p>so if your doing the swap, get a good clutch, i have a Fidanza Flywheel and act mx-6 clutch that will solve the problem when i do the tranny swap in a couple months

i'm using a escort gt ecu and harness
you can use your stock harness but then u don't get vics and u gotta use your stock injector wirring harness<p>i think it';s easyer my way

wow, very nice! was installing the engine difficult?..i mean was it mostly all direct bolt on?.. or major modification? i want to get rid of my sohc also, i need more speed :) let me know

Will the engine out of an escort gt be the same thing?? Because as to my understanding it looks the same but do they have the same power ratings?
