Anyone in U.K with this spec car:Presso/AZ-3 1498cc chassis no:EC5SA. How have you found getting parts for it as Mazda Dealers can't search for parts on it. Anyone got any tips?

The vast majority of parts are either the same as the UK model, or interchangeable.
Where they are not, you will have to go to a specialist importer of Japanese car parts, e.g.

No the American Protege's do not have the same engine. They have the newer Z5-DE engine which is the lower power version of the 130hp Z5-VE. The only model to be sold in US/ Canada with the B5 is the '95 323GS (Euro 323C). The B5-ZE is just a B6 with a shorter stroke. When the B5 club was still active in Japan they were finding that the stock power at the wheels didn't match the advertized power at the crank. There dyno graphs showed that based on the wheel HP the advertized crank hp should have been more like 128-135hp
