Yep. Almost.

And, call me crazy, but i've never lost hope to buy it back, and get it back to pristine, 100% original condition.
That is, until now. And now I found out in FB that it's the guy's birthday today. You think I could send him a stick of dynamite as a birthday present?

But I thought a member of the MX-6 forum would have had a little more respect for the car he came to own...

As far as parting it out, when I had the car, I went to Mazda to buy the FGS's, and asked the guy how much would a new driver's seat be. He said "you have to bring us the car's title, so we can VERIFY it's an M-Edition. If it is, each seat is $2000. :(
thats cool that even today the M edition is that serious to mazda

but oh man totaled! that is some BS. I love MX-6's i used to have a black one. Was thinking of getting the A-Spec kit for it but i left it overseas :( i miss it. If i found a mint M edition for sale i would snatch it up in a heart beat but everyone you see these days is in BAD shape (at least the ones i have seen)

Yep. But what REALLY pisses me off is that the guy doesn't give a damn! Man, I don't know, but if I REALLY love a car, and it gets totalled (can happen to anybody), I go to a junkyard, get a good shell, and REBUILD THE THING!!!. I'm not gonna dispose of my baby like it's an old rag just because it got hit...
And yeah, I agree. Bu not only that, most available M-Editions today are black or burgundy, and automatic, like the one Savin posted. Mine was white (and you should've seen the sheen of that paint, once I polished it), and standard tranny. And find me a single one that still has all the BS extras, like that small cardboard box.

Very nice, but it's black (very common) and automatic. And the guy is asking too much for the shape of the car. It would be an option, if I was there, though...

He TOTALLED IT! And, even if he did keep it, and does want to sell it, how could I buy it, being 9000 miles away, in a country that will NOT let me import it, and unemployed? :crying:

Thats shitty, I hate people like that. Some people shouldn't be riding a scooter let alone a car. This was a collector car for sure.

Yep, it was...

Now it's confirmed: I went to mx-6.com, and the guy is alredy selling the door sills, and bragging that he put the taillights on his new black LS.

I guess I'm gonna have to suck it up... :(
