The guages themselves are 12v powered via an inverter box which they all plug into, so glow independently from the main cluster, and have a nice dimmer unit that you place anywhere under the dash to adjust the brightness down.

Ahh I see, I have a set of ebay ones that work the same way. I've just never seen them in green before, they look good.

Ta muchly, never seen green dials on a '3 either before thats why it had be done, plus it matches all the other dash lights too and obviously the green theme on the engine hoses
Are you gonna throw any more green into the interior?

That'd be cool. I was thinking also maybe get green numbers on your shift knob or if you take an MX3 badge off the back of your car and spray it green, then mount it over the glove compartment.

Haha if you want to be original you could always just shoot green paintballs all over your dash

Ok so here's what I'm working on next. Putting a skid plate onto this the 323 sump to be able to go a bit lower and not have to worry about busting the pan, added bonus being this sump is baffled and has the return for the turbo oil feed, anyone know what the other union on the other side of the sump is for?
Took the pan into work this morning to cleaned it all up with paraffin
and the airline, pretty nice inside considering when I picked it up it been outside!
So this is the proposed guard mocked in cardboard and I will start the real thing next week
at work made from 2mm stainless steel or Titanium if I can get hold of some.... shooting white sparks anyone?!
Plan is to tack weld 4 nuts to the sump then attach the guard using M10 x 10 bolts as I dont trust our polish welder not to put holes through as he just loves using to much heat!
Hmmm well Ive had a setback after the wind blew over the old bathtub!
My own fault really for not laying it down but hey what can you do s--- happens....
S/H red wing coming next week and I'll have to get archemeny out again to roll it....
Sump guard is not prettiest thing ive made, but sure as hell will work > used 1.5mm stainless to cut down on the weight as opposed to 2mm
all weekends are being spent renovating the bathroom, need some car time soon though!!
Thnks Bro its certainly holding up alright
Went to fit the new sump today but its way to long so who knows what engines it is meant for?!Will have to score a 1600 sump and do some mods to that for the oil return and design and build a new sump guard, gutted as I was really wanting some more lows..
Did fit a new alt. belt today after it snapped last week and did the PS belt to.
