well first of all ya gino is a name, so anyone can name their kid that. but also like a said the before the word is an itailian thing, but now it describes more of a lifestyle.
And ebucks im geussing it was jsut the guys name, or did the black guy say he was a gino? people dont have to be italian or even european to be a gino. i have indian, canadian, turkish,persian, friends that are ginos. hey if u like the music and the lifetyle then anyone can be a gino.
and azmtbkr81 i think ur just thinking of a stereotypical italain person lol it seems to me u think their all like part of the mafia lol hah their all not from the movie the godfather ;p;

no, I'm definetly not thinking of just a stereotypical Italian, there is a whole subculture of Guidos of all ethnicities who slick back their hair and wear wifebeaters with gold chains, or if they go to the club they have some pimped-out double breasted suit. My best friend and roomate is kind of a Guido and I give him crap all the time because his entire wardrobe consists of wifebeaters, suits, and leather jackets and he has a lifetime supply of pomade in our bathroom. I guess its not the same though because Guidos would not be caught dead driving a Honda or Mazda, they prefer muscle cars and old school caddies-my buddy drives a tricked out '71 AMC Javelin. I am slowly converting him though, he used to hate my MX-3 but after driving it admits that its "kinda cool compared to a Honda" I even caught him checking out Supras on the internet once or twice.
