You can try to use a tiny flathead screwdriver to try and reverse it out very carefully. I had to do this two times on my SOHC when I overtightened the valvecover bolts.

It works pretty well-- or maybe I was just lucky!

BTW-- in your fist pst you said it was stick in the valve cover... you do mean the cylinder head, right?

it looks like its sticking out of the head a little bit so you may get lucky and just be able to grab it with some pliers and back it out

If the bolt's in the cover, don't worry about it. The threading on the bottom is more important. Just drill it out. Start with a small diameter bit and work up to the size of the original hole.

just got the cover off...it's in the head. i've tryed plyers n' such but it wont back out....im PISSED!

Don't you guys have easy outs? Getting out broken bolts is what they're made for.

i've heard of em, but im afraid to get metal shavings everywhere! i figure if i leave the cover on, shavings shouldnt go everywhere and get all screwed up inside my head...but im still nervous. i'll probably end up getting one monday.
