if your pedal pressure is still firm, you don't need to bleed the brakes. a good idea, maybe. necessary, no.

Put everything back exactly the way it was before you took the old pads out.

aww man, the thing is that they fell out before I even got a look. I took the rotor off, heard something fall and there they were, do they go behind the outside pad or ?

did they fall off both sides? if not, just go look at the other side.

it's really hard to explain where they go. they fit on the "tip" of the caliper. there's two for each caliper.
