I cut down trees, I skip and jump,
I go to the lavatory...
On Thursdays I go shopping,
And have buttered scones for tea...

With my ZE and Millennia IM, the highest most point is the top cover plate bolt on the IM and the distance from that to the insulating material of the hood is 5/8". Add whatever the thickness or utilized space of the insulating material is. Hope this helps.

Cheers john, currently mocking up a new IM system,
I don't want to cut into the hood but then again that would
look pretty evil as i want the injector's firing into the top
of the trumpets,

Did this on a mates 4AGE, 8hp gain on the dyno so its
not to be sneesed at!

Since the engine fires the clyinders right to left front to back,
you can run two IM's with out charge robbing however IM
lengths are important as well as IM volume....

Sounds like pretty aggressive stuff. Is it still going to resemble an MX when it's done?

Nice pic Grants. Little worried 'bout Kiwi though. I'm afraid he's gone over the edge in modding the MX. Rumor has it, he's given up on the squirt additive and has decided on the possible applications of JATO. He's gonna need humongus rotors and calipers to slow him down and possibly intigrate some speed-brakes. Haven't seen any recent pics though....must be hush hush stuff.

can remeber something about some womble in the US
bolting two Jato's to a ute and lighting them off, they found him
like half a mile up a wall with burn't out brakes.....

Not a lot has happened on the mazda due to work commitments
but in a fornight time hopefully spend a week at home working on
her and around the house.

Planning my trip to canada more than anything at the moment
and getting some well needed sleep...
