factory repeaters

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

could i get the measurments of where to drill the holes for the stock e-spec/j-spec repeaters on the MX-3, got some coming and wanna get it right

Not sure exactly what you mean by the term "repeaters". I'm thinking you mean the orange ones on the front guards, about in line with the top of the wheel arch and between the front wheel and the door? If you can confirm exactly which ones I'll see if I can help.

Have you seen the lights as yet? They don't install through a round hole but its a special shape for the clips to fit into - sorta like a round hole with cut outs on each side. They don't screw in, they just clip in. They'll be damn hard to cut the right shape, the holes are obviously pressed out in the factory.

I'd suggest you wait and see what I mean when you get the lights but I can get the measurements if you want.

i just need to know where center is, im gonna make some templates to cut em out and are they wired into just turn signals or as running lights and do the spring clips face to the front or the back of the car?

Measuring fron the edge of the fender where it meets the door, the centre is 140mm towards the front of the car.
Measuring down from where fender meets the hood (tape bent to the contour of the fender) the measurement is 240mm.

There is only one bulb for indicators (Australian).

Can't remember if the springs are front or back but I think the hole is symetrical and the end of the light that doesn't have the clip is shaped to suit the cut out.

the hole wouldnt be symetrical for them by the way these are, just one bulb in them i was wondering how they have them wired
