civic projectors?

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

try this link ... cuz they look pretty similar ... im not to sure.. i was looking at other forums and they say that you have to do tons of chopping.. and chopping even to the fender... i just want to know for sure if its do-able without chopping from others on this site....

I found a couple good pics to compare the 00 vs. 01 civic shapes. It looks like the 00s just might fit easier than the 01s. It's really a matter of size, though, so it's tough to judge without seeing them in person. If the 00 lights are smaller than the 01s, they should fit better. If they're bigger, I wouldn't even try it.

If you go on cardomain.com you will see a few fellow mx'ers that have them and tell you what year and I belive on how to mod them.

It's pretty obvious that there is no other car out there with lights like ours. As I see it only 2 options. Gut the original headlights in favour of the most up to date projector sysytem (HID/Zenon) or go the civic route whish will always mean cutting/chopping/fabricating/body work/paint job/etc, the list goes on. All that time , money and expense for a lighting sytem that is albeit better than stock but nowhere near the potential with a customized MX shell, IMO. But then again this subject has been beaten around for quite some time.
