Hello,
Total newbie here, just got a 93 MX-3 and can't figure out how to replace one of the tail lights??? removed the plastic panels in the truck thinking that's how to access them.. NOT. Removed the 3 trim screws around the tail light, still can't get to them. Is there some special tool or procedure to follow? Any suggestions / comments appreciated. Thanks.

So far so good! Leave the 3 screws out. Now theres nothing holding them in but some clips. Pull the lights out from the inside ends of the lights, ie closest to the hatch lock. It mightn't feel like they are going to come out but they will! Once you get them out once its easy, but if they are as hard to get out as mine were, you need to be brave!
